Congratulations to Peng Wu, winner of the Cross Scholarship to the 2024 Creatures, Crimes and Creativity (C3) Con! The scholarship covers the registration, conference meals and two nights’ stay at the host hotel.

Ms. Wu was selected from over a dozen entrants. As part of her entry she wrote:

"Maybe I'll never get published, but I try to remember why I keep writing and treasure the highlights of this journey - like... that rare moment when I write a passage or a poem or an essay that expresses the deepest part of me - a part that is complex, creative and insightful."
